• Centerstone to Host Gentle Journey to Wellness Workshop

    October 02, 2019
Centerstone, a national leader in behavioral health care, will host the Gentle Journey to Wellness Workshop on Monday, October 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at John A. Logan College, Building H, Room 128, Carterville.
There is no cost to attend, but all participants must register at https://101419.eventbrite.com to attend.
Thorough conversations, videos and group activities, we will explore how the foundations of a Culture of Gentleness can be utilized to provide skillful and compassionate support to children and youth in our communities.

We will also learn about Person Centered Planning tools and the ways they empower people to have input and influence on decisions made about what good support looks like for them. We will also look at what it means to be “Trauma informed.”

Please join us for an interactive day filled with conversations, new tools and a deeper understanding of ways to support not only the most vulnerable of our citizens, but everyone in our lives.
