The BGCSI is looking for a reliable, safety conscious individual with exceptional leadership skills to supervise a school-based site. This individual will be the liaison with the school district in academic programming, by planning, coordinating and assisting direct line employees in the implementation of mentoring, life skills programs, academic programs and social emotional support. Plan, develop, organize program schedule and its implementation. Uphold and communicate the organizations’ mission and values to youth development professionals, school district personnel, members, families and community members.
Requirements: 4-year degree in Education, social work or a related field from an accredited college or university. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in working with at-risk youth. Experience in learning plan development, curriculum and implementation, and working with youth in an educational setting is required.
Successful experience in employee supervision utilizing relational style strategies.
