• Relationship Manager

    Establish, expand and maintain customer relationships by providing above and beyond service, focused on the specific needs of each individual and business banking customer.  They will promote the full range of the Bank's deposit products and lending services, referring individuals to the appropriate team member when necessary.

    Essential Functions

    1. Exhibit full competency of Teller Duties.
    2. Identify cross-selling opportunities, referring customers to appropriate areas within the Bank to optimize their financial relationship.
    3. Open and process new demand and time deposit accounts, including checking accounts – both business and personal, savings accounts, certificate of deposits, IRAs, estates, trusts, and safe deposit boxes.
    4. Obtain accurate consumer loan applications and appropriate documentation that will then be forwarded to the designated team members in a timely manner.
    5. Facilitate communication to prospective lending customers, including but not limited to, the application process, acquiring additional documents, setting up in-branch appointments, and coordinating closing of the loan.
    6. Follow established procedures for new accounts, ensuring that appropriate documentation has been submitted. 
    7. Maintain awareness of risk within their functional area.  
    8. Take initiative in developing brand awareness through continued relationship building with Top 100 working with the Branch Manager and Loan Team to strategically schedule visits with current and prospective customers.
    9. Exhibit interpersonal and communication skills, providing an environment of open and authentic communication.
    10. Adhere to all Legence Bank and AFMFS Hoopla standards, serving as an example to other team members, as well as to our customers. 
    11. Represent and promote the Company within the community, working with the Marketing Department and the Branch Manager in coordinating the branch’s events.

    Supervisory Responsibility
    This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment
    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, fax machines, scanning equipment, and the ShoreTel Phone System.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
    The employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as a minimum of two Saturdays per month.   

    Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.


    Required Education and Experience

    1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
    2. 1 Year Current Banking Experience
    3. 1 Year Current New Accounts Experience

    Preferred Education and Experience

    1. Proficient in Microsoft Office
    2. Able to quickly learn new software
    3. Valid Driver’s License
