The Chamber mails out several relocation
packets each month to perspective residents.
Enclosed in these packets is a listing of Chamber

Monthly Speaker Luncheons
Luncheons are held the 2nd Tuesday each month.
The luncheons are usually held at the Civic Center.
The cost is $10 for Chamber Members. Members
can sponsor a luncheon for just $100 per month.

Chamber office, SIU Open Houses and other special
events.
Annual Membership Banquet
A chance to relax and enjoy a wonderful dinner with
other Chamber Members, including an awards program
to recognize member accomplishments of the past

leaders by enhancing their civic, social and
professional skills to impact our community. Great
for networking and professional development.
Futures Program
An opportunity for Chamber Members to mentor local Youth by helping them acquire firsthand workplace
experience through part-time employment within their organizations.
Business After Hours
A reception-style event providing opportunity to develop business contacts; sponsored by a Chamber Member to showcase their business and staff.
Regional Programs
Area Chambers have joined together to form the
Southern Illinois Regional Chamber (SIRC). SIRC has worked together to develop the Regional Leadership
Program, Regional Chamber Business Conference and
regional workshops to benefit area businesses.

CCHS Seniorfest
We work with Carbondale Community High School to provide a drug- and alcohol-free graduation celebration for seniors. Members can promote their business by
making a donation or providing a prize.
