Paul Simon Public Policy Webinar: Conversation w/ Historian Edward Larson
Join the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute on Monday, February 1 at 12:00 p.m. CT via Zoom for a conversation with Edward Larson, Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and law professor at Pepperdine University, and John Shaw, Institute director, as they discuss Larson's academic and writing career, and the United States' uneasy relationship with science.
Larson earned a law degree from Harvard University and a doctorate in history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He previously taught history and law at the University of Georgia and is currently a professor at Pepperdine University. Larson won the Pulitzer Prize in history for his book, "Summer for the Gods: The Scopes Trial and America’s Continuing Debate Over Science and Religion" (1997).
