Blue Christmas Service
Bald Knob Cross of Peace will be hosting a Blue Christmas service, sometimes called The Longest Night service, on Friday, December 20, 2:00 p.m., at the Welcome Center.
December 21 is the shortest day, and the longest night, of the year. Christmas is a time of joy and celebration. But for those who are hurting from the loss of a loved one, or a difficult change in their lives, or any number of other reasons, Christmas can be a lonely and difficult time.
The Blue Christmas service is a time for people who are experiencing the holidays as difficult to come together for a time of reflection, renewal, and hope.
Rev. Larry Gilbert will be leading a brief service inside the Welcome Center. No registration is necessary, just come and allow God to bring you comfort through being with others at this difficult time.
If you have questions, please call Teresa at 618-713-8516 or email director@baldknobcross.com.
