Blue Christmas Service Bald Knob Cross of Peace will be hosting a Blue Christmas service, sometimes called The Longest Night service, on Friday, December 20, 2:00 p.m., at the Welcome Center.
December 21 is the shortest day, and the longest night, of the year. Christmas is a time of joy and celebration. But for those who are hurting from the loss of a loved one, or a difficult change in their lives, or any number of other reasons, Christmas can be a lonely and difficult time.
The Blue Christmas service is a time for people who are experiencing the holidays as difficult to come together for a time of reflection, renewal, and hope.
Rev. Larry Gilbert will be leading a brief service inside the Welcome Center. No registration is necessary, just come and allow God to bring you comfort through being with others at this difficult time.
